Selling to a new client costs on an average 25 times more than it does to sell to an existing client. It’s more expensive to acquire new clients than it is to keep an existing one. In fact, long-term customers provide more value than a single-deal client. Keeping customers for the long haul provides a solid foundation of revenue that has created incredible wealth for businesses.

Keep employees, including and especially yourself, engaged; 73% of actively disengaged employees are actively looking for a different job. A key motivating factor for employees to stick around is when they are offered valuable learning and development opportunities.

Most savvy business owners and leaders alike understand the importance of finding and retaining top employees especially when it comes to business success. This is specifically true for small businesses with limited budgets competing with larger corporations for top talent. It’s not just enough to recruit top talent, it’s critical and more cost-effective to retain those top performers for years to come.

What You Will Learn in This Free Module:

  • Why clarity comes first before strategies
  • The 7 things you should stop doing in your business

Module Preview
Contrary to what some people may believe, being productive is a lot more about managing your energy and a lot less about time management. It is basically about spending the least amount of energy to get the most benefits. It’s about working smart, not hard.

You cannot focus on something you are not clear about. Alignment of your systems and processes are key to productivity and profitability. Shifting your perspective on these choices will help your business to operate at a much higher level.

Instead of focusing on all that you have to do and being responsible for, start with seven suggestions above that will help any business owner perform at their best, provide focus, limit stress and generate more income.

What You Will Learn:

  • Figure out who’s your target market
  • The importance of perseverance and how to do it
  • What your success looks like and how to overcome obstacles

Module Preview
Before you go out there start marketing your services/products, ask yourself, who exactly is your bread and butter clients? Who are the clients you want to make up most or a big chuck of your revenue? You need to know what problems and issues your target market has and how your services/products help solve that problem.

When my clients want to get noticed and want to connect with their ideal client in their target market, I say one word –Perseverance!

Perseverance is a firm determination to persist in a course of tasks or action despite incessant failures, discouragement or difficulties. A business owner who perseveres does not give in or quit when confronted with an unexpected obstacle or difficulty. He or she is ready to endure until the set goal is achieved. Instead of giving up, a business owner will consider the circumstances, find a potential solution and take steps to rise above the challenges.

What You Will Learn:

  • The difference between Marketing Strategy and Marketing Tactics
  • The importance of focusing on problems/issues instead of features/benefits
  • How to effectively create an ideal client avatar

Module Preview
Having great product or service or even a niche is not enough since most customers/clients don’t know how great it is until they have already bought. You need great marketing since “Nothing happens until a sale is made” (Thomas Watson, IBM).

Create an Avatar (or a few) for your ideal client and really get an understanding of them… What keeps them awake at night? What are their frustrations?

Your website should be designed for your prospects and not exactly to your current client or to you, the business owner. Is your website acting as a lead generator and sales employee while you sleep?

What You Will Learn in This Free Module:

  • How frequently should you be looking at your financial numbers
  • The top 4 strategies to work on when it comes to your financial numbers

Module Preview
It is quite shocking that a sizeable number of business owners do not regularly check their income and expense reports. It is understandable; you can get carried away with other aspects of the business such as production, content creation, and marketing that this aspect of the business can fall to the side. However, you need to know where you stand and what improvements must be made to scale your business. Spend a few minutes daily to analyze deals, pricing strategies, and profit margins.

Create a strategy plan from the numbers on how specifically you are going to acquire more business, increasing revenue, and being deliberate with actions that will yield better results.  You cannot manage what you don’t measure.
